Claire Walker has joined the Positive Steps team allowing us to help even more children and adults achieve their goals and dreams!
Claire comes to us with 20 years of NHS and international experience; working in acute and community specialist physiotherapy services for children, adults and elderly clients for a varied range of conditions. Claire has worked in Neurological, Neurodevelopmental, Orthopaedic, Respiratory and Oncology care.
Claire graduated from The School of Physiotherapy at The University of Bradford in 2000 with a BSc Hons degree in Physiotherapy. Claire is registered with The Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) and has the full DBS clearance that is required to work with Children and vulnerable adults.
Claire says " I am passionate about providing fun and effective care for the clients that work with me. My biggest motivation as a Physiotherapist has always been to support clients to maximise their functional independence and potential, with a caring and empathic approach.
I have always felt very privileged to work closely with clients for years at a time: to share in the highs and lows and celebrate in the milestones achieved."
