We are very excited to be part of this group! So what exactly is BizMums.....'BizMums is a supportive community of self employed Mums who inspire and motivate others'.
When our owner Lorna Saunders was trying to juggle working for the NHS and looking after 2 small children she knew that she had to make a change. After taking the huge step of leaving the security of employment within the NHS she gradually built up a case load of people that she could help with individualised and flexible rehabilitation programmes. Then in 2017 'Positive Steps Physiotherapy' was born! The business has grown from strength to strength and Lorna is constantly looking for ways to network locally and spread the word about how Positive Steps Physiotherapy can help more and more people. This is where BizMums comes in!
Lorna is really looking forward to attending their monthly networking meetings where she will not only meet up with like minded Mums in business but also learn new skills and be able to access resources to help her grow Positive Steps Physiotherapy even more.
So if you know anyone that is worried about their child's development or has a loved one that has suffered a life changing illness or injury then why not spread the word about how we can help!
Although Physio is very tiring I do feel a lot better afterwards and it helps to have a Physio that I can have a laugh with and that I can talk to. I feel it is very beneficial.
Lorna makes the hard work of Physio fun. She has children of her own and relates well to my 7 year old boy. He has made good progress since she started working with him.
