Positive Steps Physiotherapy has many years of experience in assessing and treating children with a wide range of conditions.

  • Dynamic Movement Skills Rehabilitation
  • Bobath Normal Movement concept
  • Motomed Movement Therapy

  • Stretching, positioning and postural management
  • Hydrotherapy
  • Elastic Therapeutic Taping
  • Post operative intensive programmes e.g. following Selective dorsal rhizotomy (SDR), soft tissue lengthening, corrective orthopaedic surgery
  • Education and Training to family, support workers, education staff and the wider team
  • Report writing

A truly amazing story is that of Natasha, it was decided if Natasha was able to learn to weight bear on her legs the planned surgery would not be necessary...a challenge the Positive Steps team were definitely up for, a challenge that we achieved!
